Get up close and as quiet as you can be with a silent stepping motor (STM) with a minimum focusing distance of 0.16m – making it great for taking images of insects or pets in their natural element without startling them. Its short minimum focus distance and reproduction ratio of 1:1, unique to micro lenses, means you can capture life-sized details that are usually unnoticeable to the naked eye.

Easily check on your reproduction ratio and subject-to-lens distance with the lens’ retractable focus distance indicator to help present your subject in the right size ratio. Expand your options further with the ability to attach 46mm filters directly onto the lens for additional creative options and easily convert film images into digital images with the ES-2 film digitizer adapter via the accessory attachment point.
